WHERE 2,000 CHAIRS MEET THE LOUVRE
One historic courtyard. Four evenings under the open sky.
Helinox takes over the Cour Carrée at the Louvre this July, turning a grand historical landmark into an intimate shared theater. For the sixth edition of Cinema Paradiso Louvre, running from July 1 to 4, 2,000 Helinox chairs line every seat in the courtyard alongside world-renowned director Wes Anderson and Academy Award-winner Joachim Trier.
Each Helinox chair provides the same constant: unparalleled comfort that contours to the body, so that nothing stands between the audience and the screen.
This is not the first time. Seven years ago, Helinox chairs filled this same courtyard, marking the first time a Korean brand had ever participated in an official Louvre cultural project.
"In 2019, Helinox was part of Cinéma Paradiso Louvre. The 1,000 chairs we placed in the Cour Carrée were never just seats to us. They showed how a good chair can transform the moments people gather for. Returning to the Louvre after seven years is a true pleasure. In the most beautiful open-air cinema in the world, our job is simple: to let the audience disappear completely into the film. That is why we make chairs." — Young Lah, Global CEO of Helinox.
Because a well-made chair belongs everywhere. In the rugged backcountry, on an urban rooftop, and in the most beautiful open-air cinema in the world.
